Plant, Baby, Plant!

I recently went to a workshop on respecting the earth and the keynote speaker was Robin wall Kimmerer, author of "Braiding Sweetgrass" and "The Serviceberry." She has spoken forcefully about lessons the indigenous people can teach us about protecting and nourishing our environment. She recently started a new organization, called "Plant, Baby, Plant." Their website is plantbabyplant.com. The mission of this new group is "to build a grassroots movement of people taking meaningful, regenerative action to care for the Earth." They envision the movement as a "potluck for the gift economy." Rather than scorch the earth, the focus is caring for the earth. Rather than taking, the focus is on giving. Please join us!
